My name is Pernilla Karstrom. I am 35 years old and living with my husband and our four kids in a little village in the Mediterranean Alps in Italy.
So who stole my camera? Actually nobody did. The stolen camera is for me a symbol
of the time that I never seems to have. I use to work as a freelance photographer in the
northern parts of Sweden. I really loved to work with people and pictures, but during the
last seven years my time has been filled with other projects an a lot of children!
2002 my daughter Vilda was born. My focus moved and I'd just got eyes for my little
princess. In 2003 my first son Odd was born and with a wild princess and a little prince
in my home the time just flew away. 2004 I moved to Italy with my growing family and
2006 my second son Emil was born. 2008, Birk saw the light for the first time and my
family is a full time job!! With four kids in a country far away from all our relatives its hard
to get a moment for yourself.
I love my kids and it is a gift to see them everyday but during the last year my longing
for working with pictures has grown and I decided to "steal" some time for working with
my own projects. Who stole my camera i is my first and a sort of coming back after a long
time out of business.
