You've got THE COOLEST critters there! This is Awesome! You are now my OFFICIAL Macro friend. I really REALLY like this, what did you use? Scott @ 2009-06-10 08:10:19
a mystrious creature... nice capture! sazangnim @ 2009-06-10 10:51:23
Thank you!
I have used my old Nikon D1, the Micro Nikkor 60mm 2,8, and some good luck.
I just realised that almost every picture here is shot with that lens. Its a really sharp lens. My is old but still the favourite. Pernilla @ 2009-06-10 18:23:53
Realy stunning shot ... incredible .. luck? ability? ... i think the last ;-) Klaus @ 2009-06-10 19:47:23
Buen trabajo con la desaturacion selectiva, me gustan las texturas de la rama.
Saludos. Alex @ 2009-06-11 01:25:55
Ability is crucial. Persistence is necessary! but unless your running a high speed camera at 500 frames per second... LUCK has everything to do with a capture like this. It takes about 1/500 sec. for that little bug to fly. Ability factors in knowing ""WHEN" to release the shutter, reading the subject and ANTICIPATING it's intent. You did a wonderful job Pernilla. I wish you all the Luck for every shot. :) Scott @ 2009-06-11 08:03:18
Terrific. Just a very, very cool shot, captured at the perfect moment. And I love the treatment you've given it. sylvia @ 2009-06-11 18:16:39
Great anticipation and timing. The bug looks so cool it almost doesn't look real. Never knew about yellow lady bugs so I learned something new too! Dan Creighton @ 2009-06-11 22:16:17
WOW! You capture a great moment... Simone @ 2009-07-04 11:59:58
I stumbled upon this picture through the weekly theme of VFXY and such a surprise to end up on your site! A real beauty, captured at the precise moment ... it almost looks surreal! Monique @ 2009-08-28 19:02:26
wow, now this is some perfect timing and focus ! It's really a bad thing that you've only shared this picture ;) Nice composition and some great action. janko @ 2009-08-30 02:43:48
